Deconstruction is a term used to describe clothing that has been taken apart, unfinished, or altered purposely so they look raw, edgy, and grunge. It can be done through tearing material, zips and seems being shown, clothing inside out, transparent or backwards. I really like this technique. Here are some examples where designers have used deconstruction.
Balmain is one Designer who has used this technique many of times to give his pieces a grunge, edgy look.

This piece of Gareth Pugh's almost defines the term deconstruction, as it looks to be almost falling apart, yet still is an amazing and creative garmend.
